U13 67's Champion Quebec City Tournament

Congratulations to our U13AA Ottawa 67's who won the Tournoi Hockey Feminin Québec this past weekend in Québec City! 

The 67's went undefeated at the tournament with a 4-0-2 record, starting off the tournament with a 2-2 tie. The 67's went into their second game determined to win, scoring 5 goals and securing a 5-2 W to finish out their Friday schedule. Saturday saw another tie and a win for the 67's, with scores of 2-1 and 1-1 to wrap up the preliminary round. 

On Sunday morning, the 67's took on the Sherbrooke Harfangs in a thrilling back and forth semi final game, coming out on top with a score of 6-5. 

Taking on the host team in the tournament in the finals, the 67's took the lead 2-1 after the second period, clinching the win with an empty net goal with less than a minute to go.

Notable performances from the 67's include Gracie Vaive, who netted 10 goals and 4 assists for 14 points, leading all players in the tournament. Hannah Thompson netted 2 goals and 5 assists, with Audrey Hafez following closely behind with 2 goals and assists. Chloe Medeiros, Brielle Loschmann, Emily Harrison, Emilie Trainor, and Tia McGregor each added a goal on the weekend.
