I have been coaching minor hockey for almost 20 years on both the boys and girls side. I have had many roles in minor hockey from being an executive, a trainer, a coach and a resource for elite players to navigate the recruiting process to either NCAA Division 1 or USport.
We are rebuilding the U15 program and have taken great strides. In the last two years we have been able to double the amount of success as the previous year’s teams, and we are excited for the future where we believe we will continue our journey of development and improvement.
I believe in development over time. Winning is part of a process. Every team has an initial combined skill level. We measure success by how much we improve our combined skills during the season through skill-focused practices.
We are announcing new initiatives as part of 26/27 season that are part of our growth plan. We will be adding some summer ice sessions that combine the U15/U18/U22 AA programs with specific skills coaches from the NCAA and USport as well as the team’s coaching staff. We will also be looking to add professional skills coaches as part of our practice offerings during the year.
We are looking forward to attending the following tournaments:
What kind of players are we looking for?
Hard working skilled players that are looking to further their hockey journey. Players who want to develop and have that positive, team first mindset. Players and families who would like transparent and honest communication that is respectful and positive.
