2024-25 Ottawa 67s AA Golf Tournament
The 2nd Annual Ottawa 67s AA Golf Classic will be held on August 25, 2024 at Manderley on the Green at 1pm. It will be a shot gun start, four person scramble format.

The tournament is an opportunity for the Ottawa Girls Hockey Association 67s AA teams to raise funds for the season’s hockey programming and local charity the Interval House of
Ottawa. Golf Registration is SOLD OUT!
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
Registration/Check In: 11:30-12:45
BBQ Lunch will be served included in your registration fee which will include one sausage OR
one hamburger and a bag of chips AND a cookie. There will be a vegetarian burger option.
Unfortunately it is unlikely that there will be gluten free, peanut free, vegan or other specialty
needs, so please plan accordingly.
There is not a banquet dinner after the tournament ~ pay as you go for meal or snacks
SHOT GUN START 1pm
2 x Foursomes per hole (144 golfers) and we are aiming to have all golfers back at the club
house by 6:30 pm. Pace of play approx. 5.5 hours.
Four person SCRAMBLE FORMAT:
All team members will hit from the same spot on each shot with the team selecting the best ball
for the next shot. Players must play within a club length of the spot.
Each player must contribute at least ONE drive and ONE putt towards the team score to be
circled on the card.
Mulligans can be purchased at 2 for $10 (must be purchased in groups of two). A maximum of 8
mulligans can be used by a team with a maximum of 4 mulligans for any one golfer (two
drives/fairway shots and 2 putts). Indicate “M” on your card next to the shot/player when used.
We highly recommend beginning your round with a full complement of 8 mulligans for your
team!
CONTESTS, 50/50 and RAFFLE DRAW:
All players play the contests - no additional cost to enter (*)! That said, we do have to make
some $$ for all the fancy prizes you will win so please purchase a Player Pack at registration or
pre-pay on the Silent Auction site by hitting “Buy Now” on a player pack ($50.00) and you’ll
avoid the rush at registration.
Player Pack: $50 for 10 tickets for 50/50, 5 Raffle tickets and 2 Mulligans.
Consider pre-paying through the Silent Auction site to enhance your registration experience!
Competitions and Contests:
Best overall Winning foursome (lowest overall score)
Most spirited team (ie. highest overall score, most energetic, best dressed)
Hole 3 (Central): Longest Drive Men’s and Women’s
Hole 4 (North): Closest to the Pin
Hole 8 (North): Straightest up the Line
Hole 1 (Central): Minute to win-it Contest (15 seconds per golfer)
Hole 1 (North): Ax Throwing (nerf) or Washer Toss (2 throws per golfer)
Hole 7 (North): Ladder Ball or Washer Toss (TBC) (2 throws per golfer)
Putting Challenge: Upon arrival on putting practice *must purchase a player pass to play.
Prize for every successful putt and win a raffle ticket if inside the ring.
50/50:
Estimated value is $500 (based on previous tournaments)
Additional Tickets will be $20 for an arms length. Winning ticket must be claimed by 11pm Aug
31st or 100% will be delivered to 67’s program and Interval House of Ottawa.
Raffle Draw Prizes: There will be 3 tickets drawn from all raffle tickets (opportunity to win more
raffle tickets during contests at holes). Be sure to enter all the tickets you earn throughout the
contests into the Raffle Draw box upon completion of your round.
1st Prize Winner: Full Car Detail generously donated by Pathway Hyundai (Value $450)
2nd Prize Winner: Ottawa 67’s AA Trucker Hat and $50 Gift Card
3 rd Prize Winner: Dealer’s Choice: Bottle of Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whiskey OR Ottawa
67’s AA Trucker Hat OR $25 Gift Card.
Silent Auction:
Register on 32auctions before the tournament for ease of bidding. Hit “Buy Now” if you don’t
want to miss out. All auction items will be onsite and available for immediate pick up or
arrangements for delivery/pick up at Sandy Hill. Share the link to the auction site to friends and
family not golfing.
Auction closes at 7pm firm.
The preferred payment for silent auction items is e-transfer to cindy.l.tessier@gmail.com. This
ensures immediate and smooth payment and reduces credit card fees. Exact cash is also
appreciated.
We will have QR codes posted to take golfers to the silent auction site during the tournament.
