The Ottawa Jr. 67’s Goalie Development Program, led by the dynamic duo of Rachel McQuigge and Rylie Wills, is dedicated to nurturing and elevating the next generation of goaltenders.
Rachel, a former goaltender for the PWHL Ottawa Charge, brings invaluable professional hockey experience and a deep passion for coaching. With her exceptional abilities, she crafts comprehensive off-season and in-season training plans tailored specifically for our goalies, while collaborating closely with the team’s goalie coaches. Her commitment to developing young talent makes her an inspiring role model within our program.
Rylie Wills, who has been a part of the 67’s program for over five years, has played an integral role in the progress and development of our goaltenders. As a Castleton graduate, Rylie's enthusiasm for the game and dedication to fostering growth ensures a supportive and effective training environment for our athletes.
The Goalie Development Program features in-house weekly training sessions with dedicated goalie coaches and U22 shooters, ensuring that participants receive focused, elite instruction. Coaches will collaborate with the head coach to design practices that emphasize goalie-specific skills and drills, honing the fundamentals necessary for success. Our program is designed to empower goalies, preparing them for advancement at provincial, national, and collegiate levels while prioritizing their growth and progression through the 67’s program.
